DB here. I am sure over the last several years you have faithfully put the containers that have the triangle with the recycle No. 7 marker on the bottom in the appropriate containers to be used again. I have been studying the literature on the subject of No. 7 and have learned that the components of it may create havoc with our hormonal systems. Recycle No. 7 is made in part of BPA, a resin that has estrogen characteristics. Estrogen is necessary for optimal hormonal health. When there is an imbalance with an abundance of estrogen in comparison to testosterone in males or progesterone in females there will be health issues. It has been determined by CSPI, the Center for Science in Public interest that BPA can alter the fine line of hormones. Men and young boys may encounter prostate issues because of the imbalance. Women may notice heavy menses and tender breasts. I would strongly encourage you to look at the bottom of your drinking bottles, si ... Read More »

DB here. The flu is a part of so many conversations.  The flu or flu like symptoms can be a part of liver gall bladder distress.  If you eat fatty type foods including peanut butter you may notice digestive distress that may appear as the flu.  I would encourage you to eat one half of a red apple, one third cup of beets, and four or five baby carrots or one medium carrot daily. These three food items promote digestive liver gall bladder health.  I also recommend five drops of peppermint leaf.  Peppermint leaf is antimicrobial, anit-strep and staph.  I would encourage you to have a bottle of peppermint leaf at home, for the winter if anyone in your family has flu like symptoms.  I would suggest also a castor oil pack on your liver which is on the right lower rib cage.  You can do the castor oil pack once or twice a week as a preventive maintenance for proper digestive performance.  I know these tips w ... DB here.  Stress is devasting. I am doing my workshop at the office today on STRESS.  Stress is stress, we all have to handle it.  I know from experience those with poor health habits tend to have more of a challenge dealing with it.  Are you passionately addicted to  sugar?  If yes, your adrenal gland will have a challenge dealing even with the simplest situations. Do you exercise?  Regular exercise helps burn off the additional cortisol in your body.  I would walk a minimum of twenty minutes daily.  OK, that is it for now I am going on the radio in NY. Talk to you later. DB

DB here! I taped 4 TV programs today.  I learned a couple of nuggets from my guests.  The first gentlemen had sever neck pain so bad over his life that he thought he was going to live with limited motion when driving.  It was so bad, that he would go down a different road because of the angle, he was not able to see oncoming cars.  With his natural care, and spinal correction he is able to drive with little limitation.  He also stopped sugar.  He said on the tape he did not realize that sugar would create so much discomfort.  He was very happy.  The next guest had a headache everyday for one year.  They were going to put her on anti-depressants.  She told her husband to make an appointment at our office.  Now, understand she had MRI's, tests of all her body parts w/o a reason for her headache.  Well, I took films of her spine, and guess what? She had ... Read More »

DB here.  Did you wake with cold hands and feet the am.  Did you go outside if you lived in the North and your bones "ached"?  These are common body signals of one with a low thyroid.  Iodine is critical for thyroid function.  We are exposed to chemicals every day called halides.  They are bromine, fluorine and chlorine. These elements are antagonistic to iodine. Bromine is common in white bread, Mt. Dew, some Gatorades.  Chlorine is in municipal water, Splenda, pools and hot tubs. Fluorine is in tooth paste and the water you drink.  The average Japanese female consumes up to 12 mg of iodine a day in the food she eats -- fish and sea veggies.  They do not suffer with many of the common hormone issues American women do.  I would suggest you add three or four kelp tablets to your diet, and crumble on some sea veggies to your salad.  This will help you ... DB here with tip for you! What an awesome day in Northern Ohio watching the leaves change and the fragrances, they excite your senses.  Do you want to know what is very interesting?  Lack of zinc can stiffle your abiltity to smell accurately.  Common foods which can deplete the amount of zinc in your body include wheat and soy.  I suggest that our patients avoid wheat bread and focus on gluten free grains.  Look at your finger nails, do you see white spots on them? White spots are a common body signal of a zinc deficiency.  I would focus on pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds with Celtic Sea Salt.  Other body signals for low or not enough zinc include scarring easy, slow healing, memory issues, prostate swelling in men and blood sugar stress.
