A couple of thoughts this week: I have had many young children over the last several days or so complaining of fevers. I am bringing this up because I was on TV yesterday in Cleveland; we were discussing the FLU and the host, my friend Robin Swoboda, shared with the audience about having the FLU with a FEVER.
Let me share with you my views on FEVERS. I have noticed that adults will get fevers and the FLU in the winter, especially here in the North where the sun does not always shine from November through May. Sunlight stimulates the CHOLESTEROL in your skin to be transformed to Vitamin D3. Vitamin D is used by the body to retrieve calcium from the blood.
The sun is the great cholesterol lowering pill in the sky and it is FREE!!

DB here! The pharmaceutical companies and conventional medical mindset never ceases to amaze me. Today, there was an article in the paper suggesting that men start taking a medication that is used for an enlarged prostate; Proscar is the drug mentioned. They say the drug has side effects and has not been proven to help prevent cancer. They are still strongly suggesting the continued use of the product. The article went on to suggest that an elevated PSA test may be a reason to take the product, but the test should not be used as the only reason.

DB here! Well today is an exciting day. I will be delivering a workshop on Vitamin D. I know you have been reading the BLOG, I appreciate the comments. DB here! I wanted to YELL at the top of my lungs on Sunday. I was watching the “Red Carpet” entrances interview around 6pm EST. There was an advertisement for Orencia also known Abatacept. Orencia is a new type of treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was going to YELL because, the company that created this drug, offered to take care of the co-payment for patients for up to six months. Just enough to get them “dependent” what do you think? I am sure you have heard from the pharmaceutical industry in their news releases how they tough they have it, and research costs so much, etc. etc.

DB here! I generally do not take the time to watch much TV, but for some reason I had a few moments this weekend to catch a few movies. My computer is in view and hearing distance near the TV. I was thoroughly amazed to see KY re-brand themselves into a Sex Machine.

DB here! I was reading a recent article from Joyce Meyer. Joyce has an awesome ministry that is on TV every day on a variety of TV stations including the Discovery Channel.
