DrB here! Do you know that your heart as the other organs in your body depend on constant flow of information from the brain cell to the tissue cell? Your heart requires impulses from the brain, which supply the muscles with the electric energy to generate the normal heart rhythms. If you have mis-aligned vertebrae in the lower neck or upper back you may in fact be compromising your hearts ability to function at optimal efficiency? I am going to share a nugget with you I have learned over my career that you will not see printed in typical heart books. The vertebra in your upper back and lower neck are the main switches that effect heart/nerve/message function. Without going into extreme detail, these vertebrae can be caused to go out of alignment because of what one eats. There is a phenomenon called, are you ready for this, a visceral somatic subluxation which is mis-alignment of spinal segments caused by the organ/muscle connection. You see nerves go to muscles and organs. I have found when one eats items that stress the pancreas; dairy, sugar, sweets, and sweet fruits – a pattern occurs in the upper back. I can see it on an x-ray. In my experience when those vertebrae are mis-aligned it can impede the messages from the brain to the heart. I have witnessed patients in our office with chronic long term heart palpitations, altered rhythms and shortness of breath improve with correction of those spinal segments. I can tell you, if you are suffering with a heart issue, you may first want to fill out a Health Survey on my home page – we will assess the results, you may want to take a road trip to Elyria, OHIO and have a FULL BODY work up. I know from practice the typical conventional approach does not include what I just shared. DB
